  We attended Toi Ohomai’s  pop up shop of student’s work – called “Insert Title here” the The second year students of the Bachelor in Creative Industries  had their amazing art work for sale. There was delicious food from Melba Foods and the Toi Ohomai Culinary Students.  

Pedal Papamoa

Great morning at Papamoa Unlimited‘s family event Pedal Papamoa sponsored by Powerco. We were able to video and photograph, edit and get the images up that afternoon for everyone to enjoy. Loved seeing  families out having fun especially the little kids on their bikes. Thanks to the Pap Tav for the sausages!

In Black Ink Launch

Tauranga author Jenna Mackay launched her novel “In Black Ink’ at Papamoa Library. The audience was riveted as she described her writing process, and read excepts. Fun fact: the cover was designed by a 14 year old student at Papamoa College. Read more about Jenna.  

Love our Laneways

  Check out Love our Laneways which was part of  the Groundswell Festival of Innovation. 3 days of great people, music and art! We hung out with  the talented artists Maraea Timutimu, and Linda Munn, looked at the great stuff to buy (check out cool plants!), and watched the dancers and musicians. Can’t wait til next year!

RAD – Ride Against Depression

Mt Maunganui resident,  Blair Benefield rode the length of New Zealand on his skateboard to raise awareness and funds for youth depression under the banner RAD and stopped off for a fundraiser at Imbibe. in his hometown. When their photographer fell through, we jumped into action and took photos of the night.
